Lewis Hamilton confirmed that he will never drive for Ferrari and said he cannot imagine of changing.

Hamilton has been linked with a move to Ferrari in the future as he looks to overhaul Michael Schumacher’s record of seven F1 championships.
Yet the Stevenage-born racer has now reaffirmed his desire to stick with Mercedes going forwards, ending the Italian constructors' hopes of getting him on-board.

No," Hamilton told German newspaper Stuttgarter-Zeitung, when asked if he could imagine joining Ferrari. "I am proud to be at Mercedes. "I cannot imagine that will change."In life one should never say never. "But I hope I finish my career in a Silver Arrow."

Hamilton discussed his 19-year relationship with Mercedes, the manufacturers who supplied engines to his first F1 team, McLaren, too.

"[I’ve been connected to Mercedes] ever since I was 13, so longer than some people who work here in the factory in Sindelfingen," he added.

"For ten years I've been driving Mercedes in Formula 1, longer than any Mercedes driver before. "That really means something to me."

Hamilton and Mercedes will be looking to get their 2018 campaign off to the best possible start when the Australian Grand Prix rolls around next March.
