Lewis Hamilton confirms he will never drive for Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton confirmed that he will never drive for Ferrari and said he cannot imagine of changing.
Hamilton has been linked
with a move to Ferrari in the future as he looks to overhaul Michael
Schumacher’s record of seven F1 championships.
Yet the Stevenage-born
racer has now reaffirmed his desire to stick with Mercedes going forwards,
ending the Italian constructors' hopes of getting him on-board.
No," Hamilton told German newspaper Stuttgarter-Zeitung, when asked if he could imagine joining Ferrari. "I am proud to be at Mercedes. "I cannot imagine that will change."In life one should never say never. "But I hope I finish my career in a Silver Arrow."
Hamilton
discussed his 19-year relationship with Mercedes, the manufacturers who
supplied engines to his first F1 team, McLaren, too.
